To represent the interests of state and major urban area fusion centers, as well as associated interests of states, tribal nations, and units of local government, in order to promote the development and sustainment of fusion centers to enhance public safety; encourage effective, efficient, ethical, lawful, and professional intelligence and information sharing; and prevent and reduce the harmful effects of crime and terrorism on victims, individuals, and communities.

CIKR Sectors

ISACs (Information Sharing and Analysis Centers) are trusted private sector entities established by Critical Infrastructure Key Resource (CI/KR) owners and operators to provide comprehensive sector analysis, which is shared ISAC members and government.

The goal of the ISAC program is to provide members with accurate, actionable, and relevant information for risk mitigation, incident response, alert and information sharing.

The Utah Statewide Information & Analysis Center (SIAC) was recognized during the 2015 Governor’s Award for Excellence for Outstanding Public Service.
The SIAC's work in supporting law enforcement with intelligence and analysis makes a significant and lasting impact on Utah communities. SIAC supports law enforcement on investigations ranging from homicide and violent crime to narcotics and homeland security-related threats.


Former Fusion Center Director is recognized by Attorney General Holder

The William French Smith Award for Outstanding Contributions to Cooperative Law Enforcement is an honorary award granted to recognize state and local law enforcement officials who have made significant contributions to cooperative law enforcement endeavors. This year's award is presented to Timothy J. Johnstone, Executive Director of the Sacramento Regional Threat Assessment Center of the Central California Intelligence Center, for his development of the office's "Fusion Center" model in the Eastern District of California. With his leadership, more than 250 law enforcement agencies over 88,000 square miles and 34 counties have been able to communicate effectively with one another on key law enforcement planning matters.
