The NFCA hosted its 2019 Annual Training Event at the Hilton Mark Center Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. The conference, which was a resounding success, featured a number of prominent keynote speakers.
Over 700+ fusion center employees, federal and local partners came together to share innovative ideas and business practices for the purpose of enhancing fusion center capabilities and the National Network’s contribution to public safety. The conference agenda comprised numerous breakout sessions, presentations and briefings on various of topics related to public safety challenges and the domestic terrorism threat picture. Experts from around the country provided outstanding, in-depth instruction on a wide variety of topics to included cyber security, domestic terrorism, federal partner collaboration, private sector engagement and social media monitoring, just to mention a few. In between sessions, attendees networked with more than 40-private sector partners who shared the latest in technology designed to support the public safety effort and the fusion center mission.
Thank you to everyone who attended 2019 conference, and a special thank you to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it the most successful NFCA Annual Training Event yet. Another great year training, sharing business practice and innovative ideas is anticipated and the conference planning team is looking forward to surpassing the many accomplishments of last year's event.
