To represent the interests of state and major urban area fusion centers, as well as associated interests of states, tribal nations, and units of local government, in order to promote the development and sustainment of fusion centers to enhance public safety; encourage effective, efficient, ethical, lawful, and professional intelligence and information sharing; and prevent and reduce the harmful effects of crime and terrorism on victims, individuals, and communities.

CIKR Sectors

ISACs (Information Sharing and Analysis Centers) are trusted private sector entities established by Critical Infrastructure Key Resource (CI/KR) owners and operators to provide comprehensive sector analysis, which is shared ISAC members and government.

The goal of the ISAC program is to provide members with accurate, actionable, and relevant information for risk mitigation, incident response, alert and information sharing.

National Fusion Center Network:
Helping Protect America

The NFCA will host its 2018 Annual Training Event at the Hilton Mark Center Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia, November 6th -8th. The 2017 conference, which was a resounding success, featured a number of prominent  keynote speakers including U.S. Representative and Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security Michael McCaul, Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Acting Department of Homeland Security Elaine Duke. 

Over 700+ fusion center employees, federal and local partners came together to share innovative ideas and business practices for the purpose of enhancing fusion center capabilities and the National Network’s contribution to public safety.  The conference agenda comprised numerous breakout sessions, presentations and briefings on various of topics related to public safety challenges and the domestic terrorism threat picture.  Experts from around the country provided outstanding, in-depth instruction on a wide variety of topics to included cyber security, domestic terrorism, federal partner collaboration, private sector engagement and social media monitoring, just to mention a few. In between sessions, attendees networked with more than 40-private sector partners who shared the latest in technology designed to support the public safety effort and the fusion center mission.  

Thank you to everyone who attended 2017 conference, and a special thank you to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it the most successful NFCA Annual Training Event yet. Another great year training, sharing business practice and innovative ideas is anticipated and the conference planning team is looking forward to surpassing the many accomplishments of last year's event.
